The President's Chief of Staff gives a brutal interview, complete with the "F" word, defending the president's excessive use of his executive orders/enforcement style of governing. Sounds like this administration is extremely frustrated and desperate.

"On the foreign policy-military side, you can act pretty quickly,” Daley says. “That is why the president, based upon frustration, is doing this ‘we can’t wait.’ He is going to every agency, every department, and saying, ‘What can you do on your own? What can we not have to wait for legislation to do?’ ”

Congress dictates what an agency can and can not do in the legislation it passes. The administration is looking at anything and everything an agency can do that it hasn't been doing. I don't think there's going to be much done because agencies pretty much do everything spelled out in legislation. There may be a tweak here or there. No controversy really, except for the expletive.

I disagree with the abuse of executive power that this, and every President has done since Lincoln took the white house.

But has been happening and getting progressively worse since 1861, and really before that, it goes all the way back to Jefferson signing a treaty to buy the French land west of the Mississippi river, and he was a staunch conservative, fearful of government over reach.

The point is, that many complain only when it suits their political needs. Did you Protest the Iraq and Afghanistan wars? When did congress declare war? They didn't. Authorizing funding for a military action is not a declaration of war, which the constitution calls for.

When President Bush signed an executive order ending federal funding on stem cell research for religious reasons, did you protest then?

I'm guessing the answer is a no.

ROTFLMAO! Excessive use of executive orders.

Bush: 291 (126 through 3 years)

Obama: 95 through 3 years

More over blown self serving hypocrisy and hyperbole by the talking heads and unthinking minions.

Congress needs to step up and defund every government agency, then add it back in based on our constitution. Time to end this tyrannical power grab.

Its been a tyrannical power grab since Washington, Adams, and Jefferson were in the white house.

Why are you so upset now? If people don't like it, they'll vote for someone else. If they don't have a choice between the two parties, they'll vote independent. If they vote for a D or an R anyway, then its the countries fault and we are doomed to failure.

Well, failure of our democracy because we'll become a police state.

Oh, thats right, our grandparents, parents allowed that, and we continue the trend.

People are scared, and freedom means you are unprotected.

When Barack Hussein talks about helping "The American People", he means extending welfare checks to folks that have been on the government's dole for years, and sometimes generations.

Why should some dumb fat blonde who likes Black guys get to recieve WIC benefits, just because she spreaded her legs. Let her pay for raising the kid by herself .... or maybe she could politely ask her "lover" to get a job and help out financially, in-between hangin' and buying bullets and Colt45.
