Have you ever done business in China where there is no EPA? I have. Cancer and lung disease are through the roof. Also, just take a look at the history of USA and understand why EPA was created. We used to be a very filthy and polluted country.

Unlike some of you, I believe in a strong national defense. A strong and efficient national defense is a whole lot different than one full of bloat and waste. I say look at the areas of biggest spending and see what you can cut that will have little impact on services first--that's just good business. Defense is a likely candidate.

Governmental mismanagement hurts the little guy in the end.
Wow, you really have no clue what you are talking about. This is a good example and then you started your own thread off with the wrong facts. The federal government employs 2.65 million, not 22 million. Since Obama is the president and there are way less than 5 million federal employees, that means Obama is your preferred candidate.

The CD Government hens actually think that using tax payer money to pay employees is the only solution. Little do they know, it is completely unsustainable without taxes going through the roof.

Ah, but you didn't dispute my claim. Across the country the public sector has been shedding jobs and the private sector has been adding jobs. Fact.

Laugh all you want chielgirl.

Even 2 million is too many.

Many more when you look at State and Local employees, all sucking pensions that States can't afford to maintain.

It's your tax money and my tax money. Why flush it down a hole?

subcontracting will solve it. but the problem is we only subcontract little guys. that is not what is bleeding you to death. we need to subcontract all of washington aristocracy. u could also subcontract fire and police teachers, social workers (already have done it to social workers) at state and county and city level as well.
but we have not the political will do do so.
