Hmmmm, I'm no fan of Obama but I don't think they should have access to his blackberry without a warrant, either, and to get a warrant don't they need an actual crime? What's the crime?

Obama's like a small child caught standing next to a broken cookie jar. His invisible friend did it.
He can try to delay and hinder any criminal investigations for a little while but sooner or later it will bring him down. Him and Eric Holder.

Yep, I always wondered why the left didn't go bananas over Clinton's award of a no-bid-contract to Halliburton.

When you work for the gov't and have access to sensitive info, yes.

Another poster making claims without knowing the details.

Obama was allowed to keep his personal blackberry for PERSONAL use ONLY.

He was issued a gov't owned secure Blackberry from NSA. ALL his official business is supposed to be on this Blackberry.

It is NOT his, hence no warrant is required.

"it i his private phone..."

What's the rule these days on using a blackberry for work ?
You have sensitive company info on your phone, the line seems to blur on 'ownership'.

They don't want his blackberry records, just other documents he refuses to turn over.

What happened to the most transparent administration...evah?

WH rejects subpoena request for Solyndra docs | Campaign 2012 | Washington Examiner (http://campaign2012.washingtonexaminer.com/blogs/beltway-confidential/wh-rejects-subpoena-request-solyndra-docs - broken link)

Quote:
Our request for documents is reasonable - we are not demanding the President’s blackberry messages as we are respectful of Executive Privilege. What is the West Wing trying to hide? We owe it to American taxpayers to find out.”
A lot, namely how involved the WH was in the decision to break the law when restructuring the loan.

Michelle Malkin » White House Calls Solyndra Subpoena ‘Unreasonable Burden on the President’s Ability to Meet His Constitutional Duties’

When has Obama met his Constitutional Duties? He certainly didn't before sending US troops to Libya and his duty to get approval from Congress!
