I can't even agree with "interesting." It sounds boring to be quite honest.

When she first mentioned her advanced degree I actually wasn't expecting it to be something like that. I don't even consider that to be advanced. And I honestly don't understand a woman who would rather sit around doing mindless, mundane, tedious house chores as opposed to using her education. Sitting around on a bunch of boards tends to be more social than efficient.

Depends on the job. The gorillas I used to work with dared me to try operating a pneumatic jack hammer. I didn't last a second and we all had a good laugh. They didn't last a second with my fine motor skill tasks/ attention to detail either. Would they realize how wrong they'd be emotionally handling a toddler as if they were a miniature adult for 6 mos? It would more likely than not go right over their heads and consequence being so far down the road they'd never connect dots. This particular crew would believe they did a great job because not many of them could comprehend the job. Not unlike the majority of participants in this thread.

Whatever people are calling effeminate males- Roger was a bean pole who became a telephone technician. The world needs squirrely types to do squirrel work. Why is this being made an "issue" by some? Because negative competition is the only way they know how to 'win'. The only thing they win is being the crowned king of a trash pile.

Plenty of pertinent information in this article...
Loafing on the Job
Quote:
most combinations of work conditions discourage loafing, so it need not be a concern unless you've created the one condition that stimulates it: preventing individualists from identifying their contributions to a group's output.
Applicable to both genders.

Start with dumping the archaic notion of alimony. I'm sorry but if you are going to say being a stay-at-home mom is a job, that's a career choice. When you get fired from a real job, the former company doesn't keep paying you and neither should your former spouse.

Child support is right, just talking alimony here.

Where. I know a few ppl that clean houses. They average one maybe 2 a day. Also, most women actually clean their house before the house cleaners arrive, or so I've been told. Your also forgetting the shopping, cooking and child care/transportation.
