Forecast suggests rainforest could stop producing enough rain to sustain itself by 2021

After this point the rainforest would stop producing enough rain to sustain itself and start slowly degrading into a drier savannah, releasing billions of tonnes of carbon into the atmosphere, which would exacerbate global heating and disrupt weather across South America.

I mean, damn.
Sry kids.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We're witnessing history: the holocene extinction event is now in full force. Hopefully we'll capture the events in detail for posterity -- if anybody is left, that is.

Forecast.

Suggests.

Could.

That's hard to argue with it's just so almost, sorta, possibly sciency.

Tomorrow could come, provided the sun doesn’t explode.

But it’s not like your debating scientists or anything.. who actually see the rainforest in person..

There is nothing to debate because their CONCLUSION is so wishy-washy that it's hillarious and impossible to debate with "maybe" and "possible" etc. That's my whole point.

Their publicized "findings" screams that they found nothing really solid one way or another but if they throw enough "maybes" and buzz words like global warming in they might get someone to fund them.

I'm not even a global warming denier but puhleaze this study smells like my underwear after day 12 in the Amazon.

P.S. the AMazon rainforest is 2.1 million square miles so explain to me how long it would take to see a scientifically meaningful amount of it in person? That was at least kinda funny to read.
