Who was responsible for regulation from 2001-2009?

Please take the blinders off. The last 2 years of the Bush presidency the Dems controled congress. Those were also the worst 2 years for the economy.
Dems voted overwhelmingly with the GOP to go to war. Spare us the he lied line. They wanted the wars too.
The deregulation began long before Bush took office and a great deal of it was authored and controled by Dems. Frank and Dodd ring a bell?
waste spending. Has there ever been a dem that didnt indulge?
10 million + illegals in this country. What has either party actively done to secure the borders?
I agree Bush was a bad president, but to lay all the blame at his feet? Well that just isnt right.

Bush seems like a great guy. He was just a really lousy president.

"All of this was before I walked in the door..."
This is from 2010, and he's been repeating often enough. It was short and one of the first I pulled off youtube. Who do you think he's referring to?

SOTU: Obama Blames Bush, McCain Not Happy - YouTube

I heard Obama mention Bush about 2 weeks ago, blaming him for the economy he inherited.

Did he say Bush by name?

I think the goal posts have moved, and Obama has to mention him by name, like Rumplestiltskin.

Who signed the Glass-Steagall act in 1999? That is one of the main causes to the financial mess we are into today. Both parties are responsible for that.

The repeal of Glass-Steagall caused the BP oil spill?

I'm still waiting for those links with Obama blaming Bush by name after the election of 2008 was over.
Who was in charge of congress, the purse strings, the legislation, when the economy went into recession in 2007?

Oh, when the POGarbage says, "I inherited" this or that or the other thing, he means Bush. When he blames his "predecessor" for his failed ideas, he means Bush.
