Parrot is right. It really amazes me how easy it is to argue with both camps. And when you point out the obvious flaws in either party's governing philosophy, they react by saying, "Well, the Democrats...." or "Well, the Republicans..."

Definitely. You try to pick the best candidate no matter what party they're in. Not that its starting to matter on the national level anymore, both parties are more and more the same. Bush/Obama proved that.

I vote straight ticket Democratic when it comes to state and federal offices. At the local level I will vote for Republicans or other party candidates or independents.
