If they haven't been protesting Fannie Mae they should. Perhaps some pressure on them.

Fannie, Freddie Executives Get Millions in Bonuses

I worked at Freddi Mac for five years and Fannie Mae for six. These bonuses are probably EARNED. They made the best of the toxic garbage that was dumped on them by the Federal Govt.

Hey AeroGuyDC,

Where are your posts complaining about the tea baggers this way? It's almost as if you're writing here and pure emotion and you're completely biased in your argument.

So you're okay with employees of a federally backed agency getting paid more than double what our president gets paid? And, that's just in regular compensation which does not included their bonuses, funded by the taxpayers.

Ed Haldeman, who announced last week that he is quitting as Freddie Mac’s CEO, received a base salary of $900,000 last year — and garnered a $2.3 million bonus. Fannie Mae CEO Michael Williams received a $2.37 million bonus.

The Tea Party was primarily a protest against the government. OWS is primarily a protest against Wall Street.

I don't see the conflict you're speaking of.

I don't see much of a difference in the two.

Strange. The OWS crowd must or they'd be protesting both, not just Wall Street.

Frannie and Freddie are NOT federal agencies. The fact that they are implicitly backed by the full faith and credit of the Fed's does not make them a taxpayer funded agency. But don't let that fact get in the way of you making stuff up.

Um, who exactly do you think pays for Fed expenditures? Willy Wonka? Or perhaps it comes out of Ben Bernanke's paycheck? Please enlighten us.

Fannie and Freddie are Government Sponsored Enterprises (GSE). Do you know what "sponsor" means? Or maybe "implicit guarantee?" Look it up and get back to us.

Fannie Mae is a publicly traded company and a part of the Wall Street debacle.
