OAKLAND -- Occupy demonstrators turned their ire on big banks and corporations Wednesday by marching, blocking traffic and chanting -- and in some cases, defacing ATMs and pounding on doors at Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Chase and Citibank branches around downtown.
And at Whole Foods at 27th and Bay streets, a splinter group threw paintballs, tore up a fence and broke a window before the larger crowd turned on them and forced them to stop.
