New data suggests that about half the country, including a majority of self-identified independents, believe that congressional Republicans are using their political power to thwart Obama’s efforts to reduce unemployment

The Republican Tea Party seems to be having a tough time convincing the voters they're interested in improving the Economy.

Well, we already had a thread on this. But, it is really The FED propping up the US economy by printing more money and devaluing our dollar with hopes that one of their globalists will win in 2012. After the election, all bets for any economic stability are off; and, that is IF they can keep the dominoes from falling before that.

This poll cited in the OP just reflects the financial and economic illiteracy of the participants.

What a hoot. Everytime I see this silly accusation pop up, I always ask the same question. What game changing legislation have the Republicans blocked? Interestingly enough, I never get a response.

The article cited three polls, not one. All a person has to do is click on the link and read the title of the article (Three’s A Trend: Polls Show Voters Believe GOP Intentionally Stalling Economic Recovery), if they don't have time to read the actual article, or choose not to educate themselves.

I'll go with my fellow citizens on this one, especially since the idea of the Republicans deliberately blocking economic recovery is consistent with the stated goal of the GOP's top ranking U.S. Senator:

"The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president." -- Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), October 25, 2010 in an interview with the National Journal.

That's because nobody refers to the bills that the Senate has simply refused to bring up for discussion or vote. Many bills have been passed in the House and Harry Reid simply refuses to allow them to come up.

Try beginning with the game changing legislation the Republican Tea Party has proposed and the public is behind...

There is no "stalling" going on. Look around..this is GLOBAL, not national.
This is bigger than D or R no matter how loud you yell and point.
