What part, the part where you said Oxford and Webster Dictionaries were valid sources for the definition of words, and when I quoted those two very sources and they said you were wrong, you back track and now pretend they dont know what they are talking about?
The first known ghetto in america actually was comprised of people of Irish immigrants and existed in NYC. The fact that you think only blacks are poor and only blacks live in the ghettos shows your lack of education, not mine.
I've been in 510 since it was 415. Either you never got out of West Oakland or you just saw what you wanted. You should know very well ghettos come in all colors, particularly here.
a boy who has nothing better to do than post up on a wall and holla at girls cuz he thinks he's the shiznit Dang, the ghetto goons kepep cumin back even after we diss them
From where I'm standing, I think anyone who thinks this IS racist, is a racist because clearly people do this regardless of their color of skin. Tell me why you think only black people do this?
Yeah it does. The post talks about how someone uses a word or a phrase to infer something more than the explicit meaning of the word or phrase. If the person using the phrase were using it to accurately describe the subject they would be using it correctly. Outside of that would be using it incorrectly. Usually, that would mean the person is an idiot. Otherwise, as in this case, the user of the phrase would be trying to infer more than what was explicitly stated.
In your example:
Call Obama an ahole: Simple insult. Who cares. Nothing inferred except the fact that some people think he's an ahole. That's open up to interpretation. This is still a crass word and has nothing to do with him politically. Fair enough.
Calling Bush a Nazi: Is it a simple insult? Maybe if the person just wanted to call him something mean and crass. This is just as stupid as calling someone and Ahole. Or does the name caller want to infer more than a simple insult. Hence calling Bush a Nazi would link him to "so called" fascist behavior people thought he exhibited during his tenure as President with acts like DHS and the patriot act. Although it is an extremely tenuous association to being any remotely close to actual fascism, the name caller wants to make that connection to "**** off" the opposition and "garner" support from those that are like minded.
No back to the whole "Obama is a ghetto goon." We have two reasons why the person that used this phrase would use it. 1. He is an idiot trying to insult someone using a crass and meaningless insult. or 2. He's trying to infer more than just the explicit phrase, which as we can see by this thread, is up to interpretation.
Either one or the other. Take your pick.
Also, you do know that the phrase "ghetto" in the contemporary United States (1980- Present) is a STEREOTYPE used to describe poor blacks in the inner city. Most of the people you are arguing against know this is a stereotype and do not think that is actually true.

Do you whats really interesting? the fact that the dictionary gives you the origins of the word and does not refer to the current usage or intent in modern times. Educated people know the origins of the word but only intelligent people know where and when to use it
Since you really can't tell what is racially offensive and what is not may I suggest that you limit your conversations to people with your similiar ethnic, racial and economic background.
yes....some people are quite limited/verbally or socially impaired...or more succinctly, they are clueless
