Your family will not have the same reaction as her family to Obama being called a ghetto goon period. Her family will not necessarily react with violently but their reaction I'm sure would be very different than what you think although I do not believe you are being truthful in how you think they will react.
I'm basing your family's reaction on your politics. Now I have seen many white people become very offended and embarrassed by other whites saying racial slurs and some of them do get physical at times depending on how angry the racist makes them. Just curious and no need to answer but have you asked her if she felt this was racist?

Why even try. He is plenty smart enough so he says to get this. He just loves to use racial slurs period. Read all of his post about Obama and all his post about blacks in general and you will see him for what and who he is.
