He is a terrible President...these people predicted he would destroy America four years ago and what has Obama done? NOTHING except improve the economy, grow jobs for 23 straight months, close down they wars, kill America's most lethal enemy, put rules into place to regulate Wall Street to avoid the kind of shenanigans that caused the economic crisis, saved the car companies and passed health care reform so adults up to age 26 can stay on their parents' health insurance. Not to mention the soul-crushing removal of pre-existing conditions, and the stimulus that saved jobs and prevented the recession from becoming a depression. He'd better get to work killing this country; he has to undo all the good he's done first.

His latest mandate is that all of the 51,000+ hotels in the USA must install lifts in their swimming pools.
What has happened since those dark days of 2008 is mind blowing in its epic proportions and epic stupidity. To quote Doug Casey, “Not only haven’t we done the right thing, we’ve done the exact opposite of the right thing.” It is absurd and ultimately suicidal to cure a debt disease by administering massive doses of more debt. But that is exactly what those in power have done. The National Debt has risen from a $9.7 trillion to $15.6 trillion, a 61% increase in three and a half years, while our real GDP has grown by $244 billion, a 1.9% increase. Not exactly a fabulous return on investment. But at least there are 7 million less people employed today than there were at the peak in 2008. Plus, senior citizens and middle class savers have seen $450 billion of annual interest income they were earning in 2008 pilfered from their savings accounts and handed to the Wall Street banking elite through Ben Bernanke’s ZIRP.
The Federal Reserve has tripled their balance sheet (actually your liability) from $950 billion to $2.9 trillion. Various other Federal government controlled bureaucracies (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA) have stealthily subsidized hundreds of billions in losses on behalf of the criminal Wall Street banks (burning platform)

The story did not outline terms, but previous leaks have indicated that the bulk of the supposed settlement would come not in actual monies paid by the banks (the cash portion has been rumored at under $5 billion) but in credits given for mortgage modifications for principal modifications. There are numerous reasons why that stinks. The biggest is that servicers will be able to count modifying first mortgages that were securitized toward the total. Since one of the cardinal rules of finance is to use other people’s money rather than your own, this provision virtually guarantees that investor-owned mortgages will be the ones to be restructured. Why is this a bad idea? The banks are NOT required to write down the second mortgages that they have on their books. This reverses the contractual hierarchy that junior lienholders take losses before senior lenders.
So this deal amounts to a transfer from pension funds and other fixed income investors to the banks, at the Administration’s instigation. (end)

Your insinuation that Obama is making up mandates out of thin air, with no basis, is just uninformed. What you are complaining about is a new requirement under the Americans With Disabilities Act, which among other things sought to make public pools, including hotel pools, accessible for people with disabilities. Do you remember who passed the Americans With Disabilities Act? It was George H. W. Bush. Did you complain when Bush signed that law? I doubt it.
What I'm reading is whining about Obama Admin regulations, even though other presidents -- like George Bush, issued more regulations at this point in his presidency, without any complaints from the right-wing. Did you complain about Bush's "nonstop rampage of issuing mandate after mandate?" I doubt it too.
What's even more nonsensical is using regulations, that Congress granted the president to implement, as a rationale for stating why Obama isn't fit.
