I wonder if Prius owners do a cleansing ritual when they take delivery of their new feel good about them selves car?
After all, they rode piggyback on a diesel truck on there way to the dealer, let alone all the diesel fuel that was burned to produce the little gem.
Just wondering?
Berate the woman for her behavior and not because she's "fat and ugly".
She proved that the negatives of being fat and ugly can be overcome by being better than others simply by choice of automobile ownership, as it relates to prescribed social conscienceness.
She's on a higher plane than the family she attacked.
I said it many times before. Guys who have to drive giant trucks to prove how macho they are usually have to make up for something that is very tiny............................
Or they have manly things to haul using those manly trucks that the Metro-Sexuals would find to difficult to operate or park.
This is quite common in Texas, as a Prius is known to have "shortcomings" when horse trailers and boats need to be hauled.
See how fat she is? The methane coming from the tons of food she eats, and that she emits, is far worse than the truck. This is what the lefties have in store for the country.
A diesel pickup has roughly 2x the life expectancy of a gas vehicle. The mean time between rebuilds on a Cummins (Dodge) is 400,000 miles. When you figure the total lifecycle costs of a throw-away Pious vs a pickup, I bet they are pretty comparable. I'd also bet that the energy usage and total emmissions aren't much different. A diesel gets far better mileage than a comparable gas vehicle. Heck, my 7000 pound quad cab diesel got better mileage than the little Xterra I traded it on.
A Prius is pretty useless around here. With about 3 inches of ground clearance and 2WD, they are helpless in winter. Heck, they will high center on a speed bump, let alone a gravel road or snow drift. Combine that with the lack of meaningfull carrying or towing capacity and they are further limited. They might be useful for a suburbanite I guess, if you don't get too many groceries at one time. I suppose you could toss one in the back of your pickup as a spare. Use it to run the flat tire to the tire shop
Now that's an Idea ... a dingy for the road boat!
