Initially when the OWS protest started with the grievances about government, banks and corporate greed, there were many, including baby boomers who saw good issues being brought up.

BUT.......when the cause started going south because of the way it was being carried out, for one, and two, turning on the baby boomers who are perceived as taking "handouts" from the government, who are made out to be a bigger problem than that of government, banks, and corporate greed, the protesters lost a very big audience. Understand: the baby boomer generation is larger than your little numbers protesting. The baby boomers have greater power than your little numbers. And according to YOU, the protesters, the baby boomers hold the purse. Rather than trying to get the support of baby boomers, you did a very good job of driving them away, along with others who now see the OWS protest as being nothing but a lost cause, pushing away any support that could have helped the OWS cause. The contempt you have shown is being thrown back in your face. Two things the OWS and the Tea Party have in common: both are obnoxious and selfish.

Now us baby boomers sit back, collect SS checks, and watch all of you self-destruct. You will be no further ahead when it is over than when you started. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot - or should I say head??

Cool Newsflash:Most “Occupy” Protesters HAVE Jobs … Unemployment Much Lower Than In Tea Party

Just want to debunk the common misconception of OWS. These are not people who are mad because they don't have a job. Most of them have jobs.

This is a duplicate thread, and I'm sure is sure to be just as histerical as the last one.

And the OWS posters unemployment is 15%

The vast majority of demonstrators are actually employed, and the proportion of protesters unemployed (15%)

I guess there goes another liberal lie down the drain.

Of the OWS protestors who say they are employed or are college students, they must have very understanding and forgiving employers and professors to allow them to miss work/classes for two months.
Will they have a job waiting for them or get passing grades when they return?
