It's accurate. With Obama, it's all political.

I never could understand why construction unions stand with tree huggers.
This is a political move by Obama to satisfy his kook base. The environment and global warming are dead last on the issues people think are important, #1 is jobs and the economy. So once again, this president is running with policies that run opposite of public opinion; no surprise there.

Global Warming and the Environment

Dealing with global warming ranks at the bottom of the public’s list of priorities; just 28% consider this a top priority, the lowest measure for any issue tested in the survey. Since 2007, when the item was first included on the priorities list, dealing with global warming has consistently ranked at or near the bottom. Even so, the percentage that now says addressing global warming should be a top priority has fallen 10 points from 2007, when 38% considered it a top priority. Such a low ranking is driven in part by indifference among Republicans: just 11% consider global warming a top priority, compared with 43% of Democrats and 25% of independents.

PRINCETON, NJ -- Americans, by 50% to 41%, say the nation should prioritize the development of energy supplies over protecting the environment when the two goals are at odds. This reflects the continuation of a striking reversal of attitudes compared with those seen from 2001 through 2008, when Americans showed a clear preference for environmental protection.

Pretty pathetic that people are now sitting around waiting for "the government" to create jobs for them.

China is calling!!!!

I wonder how popular OB will be when oil is 150 bucks a bbl next spring !!!

Flaherty talks tough with U.S. in wake of Keystone pipeline delay.

"In a move that reflects a widening rift with Canada’s largest trading partner, a senior Harper government minister is warning that Washington’s decision to postpone a review of the Keystone XL pipeline could doom the project and speed up Ottawa’s efforts to ship oil to Asia instead."

You got that damb right. Obama is nothing but a political MAGNET! LOVES THE GLITT AND GLAMOUR, Infact he has not stopped campaigning since he has taken office.

Odd so many of these people think that the Government is going to find them jobs, ironic is it not.

You did nothing to show that the President ordered the State Department to delay the project. Nothing at all.
