So all hatred aside...how is everyone doing on this frosty November night? (Boxer, good news)

Thanks! And I just thought I'd be a tad bit political and controversial by posting that, since this is the Politics and Other Controversies forum. We were mere pups when we got together - in Austin, TX - at ages 20 (he) and 21 (me). In 2003 we married in Canada as soon as the law in Ontario had changed to allow marriage equality. Now looking forward to the new civil unions law in our current State of Delaware going into effect in a few weeks, which will automatically make our marriage in Canada recognised as a civil union in Delaware. The nexus of the political and personal is that I'm personally very happy and pleased by the developments that have made the lives of myself and my partner much easier and more secure.

Oh, in a world with so much pain, suffering, and hatred, I can't see how love that lasts and brings joy can be considered controversial. We should all be so lucky as to spend a life with that kind of love.
Tomorrow will be full of news from both the working world and the political world. Hopefully it will be good news from both but it's not looking so good from the political world. I know it'll be good from the working world (even though I'm suppose to be on vacation ), some things just have to be done regardless.
Can't wait for turkey day on Thursday. I've been preparing food all day long and none of it was for turkey day.
Went shopping for some odds and ends to finish up the new home and got the dog's 3 year rabies shots Saturday. Monday he goes to the groomers and he's not going to be a happy dog during that grooming time.
I've had a checklist a mile long and I'm marking things off that I haven't been able to do due to working some very long hours... Each check-mark is like another burden lifted.
70's at the beginning of the week and moving into colder days and nights as we approach Thanksgiving.
I think I'm going to have a beer now and sit on the porch and admire the mountains.
Enjoying a Beautiful night, like Spring...71 mild, pleasant degrees, at 7:45 PM...in the evening!! Can ya believe it?
Hey to all my friends on this Thread
Spoiler
mb1547 - Annie53> ~~~Happy Thanksgiving~~~
30 degrees here, but clear crisp star-filled sky. Geese are honking about their trip south all up and down the river valley, another big harvest is in the bins. Life is good.
