1) Israel probably sees that US talking about Iran's nuclear bomb for years without results.
2) I don't believe Israel is capable of air-raids on Iran. It is practically impossible to attack Iran without US permission for using the air space. Not only that, but the route goes through Arab airspace. At least one Arab state has to allow the planes passage.
3) The only practical possibility is by firing missiles from submarines. Land launched missiles will be shot down by US anti missile defenses in the Gulf.
If Israel does take out Iran's nukes, the world will condemn publicly while sighing with relief privately.
Just like in '82.
Well it may be a race if Iran has nukes. I'm sure Iran is watching Israel closely. Iran could end up getting there first, and the world will condemn publicly while sighing with relief privately.
If Iran has nuclear arms, I bet they have people sitting at the controls 24/7.
Do friends spy on friends??? The US has caught many Israeli spies in the US. Do spies justify spying by saying that they were spying as an ally not as an enemy??
"No government can serve two masters, and a government that serves Israel cannot serve the American people."
Yes they do! Yours has done it for years! The difference is that when U.S spies are caught in foreign allied countries like the U.K. , France or Italy, an accomodation is made, an expulsion or two and life goes on without blathering to the public for political talking points like your politicians do on a regular basis in the U.S. to get themselves a couple of cheap "brownie" points
Cheney even outed one of your own agents and made her identity public to the world fer crissake!
Israel should trust your sorry-assed record on confidentiality? Not bloody likely.
If and when Israel does the deed; at least we won't be treated to the utterly shameless display of a president fawning for the press "yep, I gave the order to hunt him down and cap his ass". Bullcrap he inherited the mission.
The world knew the hunt was commissioned by Bush long before Obambam was told to wipe his feet before entering the White House. He was merely briefed on progress of the mission and to give final go-ahead. What was he gonna say--- "You've spent a bunch of years finding this guy but I think I'll give him one more chance to apolgize." Yeah right; if that had leaked you'd be lynching him in the Rose Garden the following morning.
Nope Israel should keep it's enemies close but friends like you even closer and it's mouth shut.

Countries are not friends. Geo-politics is not a friendly game of monopoly, countries are "friendly" with each other because it suits them. Like it or not, it has suited the US government to be "friendly" towards Israel because it is stable, productive, and not a breeding ground for terrorists.
If you think even the US and UK do not spy on each other, then you are naive.

Sighing with relief?
If Iran was that powerful, do you really think they would have a problem bombing the US?
