Some people are so viciously partisan about their politics, that they would even attempt to excuse the sexual abuse of children, to try and score political points.
Yes, the big fat disgusting hypocrite was calling for stiff penalties for drug dealers while HE was doctor shopping and sending his housekeeper out to score pain pills for himself. He wasn't a drug dealer, but I believe his housekeeper did have a record of being a dealer along with the husband.

He had a clean record and was overusing pain medication due to a chronic illness. He was wrong and got rehab and parole like every other first time offender in this country.
To my knowledge he so far has remained clean.
