I don't think the Republicans hate the poor. They just don't owe them any favors. If the poor could somehow donate millions to their campaigns, they would cut their taxes too. They are prostitutes first and foremost. Nothing personal, just business. Most would lobby for benzene in baby formula if they could get paid enough to do it. Of course their unique genius is that they would somehow claim they were protecting your marriage, the flag, and liberty, and Adam Smith's memory while doing it, and their followers would believe them.

Maybe the poor should man-up, rise-up (on their own hind legs) and stop being poor. If they don't care enough about their plight to better themselves, why should anyone else?

What is soaking up the poor, is all the freebies going out each month to those who do not earn it.

All the free programs going out, way too many, if you don't earn it, you don't deserve it, sorry, i came from a family that believed in hard work, and doing for yourself.

Sorry but i do know some acquaintainces, who are on the poor side, why the hell don't they better themselves, they cannot do a thing to make their life better, but they can boozze it up. party till the wee hours, all i am going to say is that some people do not have the right priorities.

And if you can't afford it, then do not buy it.

Thank you and yes i agree. Although there are times if unemployed you do need help. But for ever more, no i do not think so.

Too many people take the easy way out, when it is provided, take it away, and see what happens!

Another bashing the poor post. Typical of right wing extremist to kick a man when he is down.
