If he thinks taking a victory lap, more in your face celebration of a law as unpopular as obamacare would do him any good at the polls, I think he's miscalculating horribly.

I mean, do his supporters think that a favorable ruling for obama by SCOTUS will somehow change their minds about obamacare?

If they rule against obama, what better campaign ad than one in which obama and the dems have been slapped down for forcing an unconstitutional bill down the country's throat?
I'm beginning to think that Obama would not mind if the SC rules the insurance mandate unconstitutional. It would take that issue off the table for the election. And he could go around proclaiming the need for universal healthcare with a single (federal) payor system, like in Canada. That would fire up his base which has been sorely disappointed that the healthcare reform did not deliver that goodie.

Shouldn't she and soon?

If she participates in the SC proceedings on the challenge to Obamacare, that is official corruption of the highest order. And that should prompt impeachment proceedings by the House.

But 70% of Ohioans that voted last week voted that we shouldnt be forced to pay into ANY healthcare system, not even a single payer system. Since a major pro union legislation was also on the ballot, whats this say about his "base"? Not even his base supports him or a single payor system in large enough numbers to help him win a 2nd term.

Kagan should be excluded over her involvement under Obama regarding all the Emails already coming forward regarding her direct involvement.

I know liberals knowing this want to point to Thomas's wife and her activities, but that is his wife and NOT him. Even Cain who is running has a wife that is a Democrat and her activities do not always reflect the thoughts of Mr. Cain either.

So, there is a proven need to remove Kagan and no case to remove Thomas.
What will be allowed to happen? Having Kagan in this case sitting on Obama care would be like having former Senator Byrd being Judge on a trial involving the KKK.

Ohhhhh...no way! It would be great fodder for the GOP candidate and conservative groups. Just think of the ads of obama and the dems, on a party line vote, using budgetary gimmicks and legislative sleight of hand, shoving the UNCONSTITUTIONAL obamacare down the country's throat, costing them MORE in premiums, causing them to LOSE their HC altogether.

Oh no, either way, I can't see this a winner for obama.

So, if "Obamacare" is thrown out, how do we fix the healthcare system? It is clearly broken since it costs a fortune just to use it. People's finances cannot continue to be ruined due to medical bills and we clearly cannot let people die because they do not have the funds to pay for it. So, what do we do about it?

I'm just curious. You must know by now that when obama said his law would bend the cost curve DOWN, that was a lie...you know that, right?

When he said we can keep our HC package AND doctor if we want...that was also a LIE, right?

A man with a plan: Health Care*|*Ron Paul 2012 Presidential Campaign Committee

Quote:
* Repeal ObamaCare and end its unconstitutional mandate that all Americans must carry only government-approved health insurance or answer to the IRS.
* Allow purchase of health insurance across state lines.
* Provide tax credits and deductions for all medical expenses.
* Exempt those with terminal illnesses from the employee portion of payroll taxes while they are suffering from such illnesses or are incurring significant medical costs associated with their conditions.
* Give a payroll deduction to any worker who is the primary caregiver for a spouse, parent, or child with a terminal illness.
* Ensure that those harmed during medical treatment receive fair compensation while reducing the burden of costly malpractice litigation on the health care system by providing a tax credit for “negative outcomes” insurance purchased before medical treatment.
* Guarantee that what is taken from taxpayers to pay for Medicare and Medicaid is not raided for other purposes.
* Make all Americans eligible for Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and remove government-imposed barriers to obtaining HSAs.
* Stop the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) from interfering with Americans’ knowledge of and access to dietary supplements and alternative treatments.
* Prevent federal bureaucrats from tracking every citizen’s medical history from cradle to grave by prohibiting the use of taxpayer funds for a national database of personal health information
.

If she does not the American people should force her to do so.
