Nope. I think if they had been better organized from the start then it would have been more effective. Instead they're slowly degenerating into camps of lawlessness.

I don't think so. It just seems to be antagonizing people.

The lack of leadership, organization, and a clear, consistent message is a recipe for failure.

They've given people something to gripe about, and yell at each other about. I don't think that many of them have any real ideas on how to fix things besides tossing certain people into jail and somehow creating money out of thin air to pay for social services. Many of them seem to not be able to give a clear answer to anything besides "I don't know" or harass people talking to them (granted, they seem to be fairly easily baited into giving an unreasoned response to anything if questions are asked in a certain manner) and that the antics of some protesters has turned many people off of them.

Might have been more effective if they'd been better organized, but overall I'm sick of seeing them, sick of people saying "we are the 99%" when they do not represent me, and I'm tired of being invited to these events by people who seem to think that I'm magically going to change my mind overnight so I can use money I don't have to travel several hundred miles... to protest the fact that I don't have any money.

They are having a very real impact on all the people that they are inconveniencing.
Numerous small businesses are suffering due to these encampments.
They are having an impact on the budgets of the cities they "occupy."

Or did you mean a positive impact?
In which case, nope.

I haven't been following the occupations at all, so I don't know the Occupiers' goals. I was just wondering if they've achieved any of their goals, whatever they are.
