CLUE to the CLUELESS: If the majority of green companies are pro-environment that means they will back a Dem over a Repub every time. Since the government is trying to help green companies work on our future energy needs it is only logical that they would get funds from the government, the only difference is most Repubs would not invest in the future but would much rather give the gas and oil industries more money and tax breaks. I have bad news for ya, this attempt to attack the President only makes you look Partisan and more interested in political attacks than the future of Ameican and our energy needs.
Deflection and excuse is strong in this thread. Apparently it's fine to funnel millions of federal dollars into good intentions. This is the same stuff that Bush was raked over the coals for, but it's OK when Obama does it, apparently. The 'green' excuse is just a smokescreen to hide the corruption that's in plain sight.
At least when federal money ends up in the oil sector, it helps fund exploration and employs a lot of people on stuff we're using right now. Renewable energy technology is still far too inefficient to roll out on a large scale, and will never replace more substantial power sources.
Meanwhile, Democrats are handing out billions of dollars into green energy companies they or their friends and family are financially vested into and profit directly from, but nobody other than conservative news outlets are willing to expose this outright theft of taxpayer dollars that's flowing into the pockets of the Democrats in power.
As I said, they bother you, hence the one line replies
