I think it is funny... those are talk show hosts who give out their OPINIONS... they are not really "news"... the reason Fox has a much bigger pool of people is because people can identify themselves as having the same thoughts... you know "like attracts like"... I find it funny they liberals will deceive themselves to the extent that they start to believe otherwise... they talk about "education" "intelligence" and other BS... what they are spewing is propaganda... no respect for those kind of people that try that kind of BS... I am too smart of for that and so is the public...

Why do so many people watch FOX News...and far fewer watch the left-wing liberal networks?
From my personal experience with friends and family, those on the right are more gullible.
I watch none of the programs listed right or left.

You know if you say the word "gullible" really slowly it sounds like the word Orange.

No really, in my personal experience I've seen the exact opposite, those on the left are far more gullible.

You are absolutely correct and this is the difference between the liberals, democrats, independents etc,.. as when the talking head shows come on they are watching them for entertainment. Right wingers on the other hand think they are watching facts.
Just look for example how often do you see someone posting a link to the ed show or chris matthews? Once in a blue moon at best? On the other hand you will see hannity, beck, and other right wing trash numerous times a day.

Exactly like I mentioned before right wingers want to hear only what they want to hear, and could care less if it's factual or not. This is why a fox news type of network would never work with any other political affiliation as these types of people want facts, not propaganda.

Most of those top rated shows are opinion shows. It appears people like to hear others' opinions on various subject matters, hence the existence of talk radio and this forum.

I recall this from growing up. Rush, G. Gordon Liddy, Savage, O'Reilly, Lars Larson, Beck, Coulter. God, all those bozos are tremendously popular. Name a single liberal blow hard in the same league as Limbaugh or Beck?

Here is a link that ponders why rightwing radio is more successful than leftwing radio:

Why is Conservative talk radio so much more successful than their Liberal counterparts? - Quora

I think I agree with one point. Liberals like complexity, and we don't like to be fed a line. Conservatives like to be told they are right. That is my take.

No kidding, just look at 2007-2008, and the death of journalism on the left. If i saw one more lefty rag post another photo of Obama with a freaking halo around his head, I would have puked.

Of course you like to be fed a line, you like anyone who tells you what you want to hear. Look at how many liberals here on CD will instantly dismiss any link or story that is found on a Fox News related website. Without reading it they instantly dismiss it, that's just plain ignorant. You could post an article from Fox News explaining that 2 + 2 = 4 and liberals would claim it's right wing propaganda and lies based on the fact that it's on Fox.
