Van Jones was illegal arrested and won a legal settlement against the police for the arrest. Van Jones did not engage in mass rioting.
I have known about your left lean for some time and since you don't like to see a grouping of names and their connections to each other you prove that you must live in that area of California where left is the only direction. Do you know that Loudon once marched left,left, left, left, as so many of you do these days?
Two very far left leaners, Barack Obama and Valerie Jarrett, were in on the appointment of Jones. Jarrett admitted that "We have had our eye on him (Jones) ever since his days in San Francisco. Oh yes, his political thinking got him that job and it also got him forced out the door when Beck attacked him. Do you know that Beck is still mentioning the man these days.
I have been doing some studying on this subject and finally ran into this little thing that the New Zealander, Trevor Loudon, did back in the days before 2008 elections here. He explains very well the connection between Jones and Obama and so many other 2nd level people Obama appointed in the beginning that filled our government with communists and other socialistic types.
Here is Loudon's work that proves too much for many here to believe and others to accept. This thing is a bit long so I suggest that you read from page 28 to the end, about page 41 or 42.

I often wonder just how close I was to getting a shot at beating the hell out of some of the leaders of the Obama group back in 1968. 1968? What the hell? Well I was a principal of a small high school in northeast Kansas that had more than just a few drug users. These kids came to me to ask if I would allow them to bring in some SDS people to talk to the student body. Of course, I said No and they couldn't see how I could keep them away.
My reply to those kids was that me and my baseball bat would make sure that they didn't get out of the public street onto the campus of my school. I have always wondered what would have happened to education in Chicago if Bill Avery and Bernadine Dohrn had come to my school. I would have taken them on with my bat and tried very hard to injure them as bad as possible.
Hey, I knew that the voters of that region would have been on my side and that I had the power to keep them out. Maybe not beating them with a bat but they would have stood with me. Damn, I wish I had allowed them to make that invitation.

He admitted that he went from being a nationalist to a communist. He has never changed his wiki page.
Van Jones, special adviser for green jobs, enterprise and innovation to the White House Council on Environmental Quality, is an admitted black nationalist and radical communist.

One of these guys looks giddy to be in the presense of the other, and the other knows it.
Even if Van Jones never claimed to be a communist (in public) he has repeatedly praised them, effectively making him a pro-communist. At the very least he is a Marxist.
Just curious, but can anyone give me a logical, pragmatic explanation for why the political philosophy (including Communism) of a Czar of Green Jobs is even remotely relevant.
You just gave the lefties here all the information they need to see to find out how wrong they are. Valerie Jarrett is the main advisor of Obama in the White House and she admitted that they had been watching Jones since his early days as a Communist organizer.
The speech you refer to is the one I think of as his "Give them the wealth" one. He was saying that we must give the wealth that has been built up back to the American Indians. What he was saying was nothing more than agreeing with Obama and his redistribution schemes. Jones didn't mention one thing about how we have helped Indian students go to college. I doubt he even nows about it. Any student who can prove at least 1/8 Indian blood in his veins gets room and board, tuition, and other moneys to go to college. I knew one of them in the late 80s who had been given a football scholarship but helped the program by taking the Indian one (1/4 Indian) and that gave the coach one more schollie to give to someone else.

As part Cherokee I laughed at that when I saw/heard Jones say it, like a nutty preacher he repeatedly said "Give them the wealth!" Yeah, bring it on, but how can he? LOL when the majority of us can't even find Grandma's birth certificate. Seriously, NO....I won't accept anything if it's stolen from someone else and I can't prove it was ever directly meant to be mine, ya know?

I can make a connection... no one wants green ! The Obama monies supplied to green jobs , the companies are bankrupt.. no jobs there.. a strain on the economy... good for the communists.. why, government has to grow larger forcing more power to the government because of no jobs.
Obama doesn't want more jobs through capitalist tools.. he wants government to spread the wealth around. Obama halts domestic oil production. We should be looking to fuel the 18 wheelers with natural gas to ease the consumption of oil.
Obama is pushing his agenda and it is not working for job creation. Obama's ideas are socialist and Obama is more a globalist that an American president .
Taratova, so did I! Are you referring to the one where he not only said he was/is a Communist but told everyone exactly when he became one? Glenn Beck also showed several vids of Jones. THIS type of thing is why they hate him. Oh, they're a cute bunch....so sophomoric, making fun of folks, saying things like they feel dirty or may vomit upon seeign or hearing the brightest conservatives.....yeah, I get it.
They give themselves away by making the most fun of those that are the biggest threat to them and their lies, and theatrics. It absolutely is a huge compliment to be made fun of by THESE people.
