I don't know, it seems the people addicted to drugs are the ones who can't afford to lose another brain cell.

I've never personally tried any illegal drugs, but most of my friends have experimented when they were younger. Only a few, though, continued to habitually use drugs. I think that experimentation is natural, especially when you are young and have less to lose if caught, but that at some point a person weighs the risks against the benefits. In our society, the risks can be substantial, that's not true in other cultures.

I must have a very low IQ because I prefer drugs that are bought in a square bottle.

I seriously doubt many with high IQ really want to destroy their gift, and I've never met an especially intelligent drug addict.
What would you offer as evidence that marijuana causes alzheimers?

I like using a water pipe, but, instead of water, French red wine.

Republican Gary Johnson, former New Mexico Governor and Presidential candidate wants to legalize marijuana.

When's the last time you heard Obama say that? Nanny state President.

Hell, the Democrats are even trying to regulate how much salt you use.

In my opinion the very worst drug of them all, the one that causes the most damage in our society by a country mile is ALCOHOL.
The fact that booze is legal and weed is not has bred 2 generations of people who have nothing but contempt for the law of the land.
The huge problem this creates is this contempt spills over to a more general contempy of the law.
I've observed this for 40 years or so now and if anything it's getting worse.
