Yes, unfortunetely so. We need Ron Paul to put an end to this military madness.

The only way to end the "military madness" is to end the dollars tie to oil. He will have to do that first before pulling any troops all home or we would implode economically. The only reason we haven't yet is because oil is still traded in dollars.

Somewhat related to bunker busting-

Please explain how using only dollars to price oil is so important. We buy most of our imported oil from Mexico and Canada and I do not see why they would change. How is the Middle East selling oil to the EU countries in EURO's is such a big deal?

I would guess that these are more likely used to counter the fact that China now has an underground submarine/carrier base to go along with thousands of miles of tunnels for transporting troops and nuclear weapons.

OPEC countries are supposed to sell oil in dollars only. That's the deal. When a country like Sweden wants to buy oil from the Saudis, they need to get the $$$ from us first first. This keeps the greenbacks in demand. That's the way we tax the rest of the world. Of course we have to give them (Saudis) something in return, and we offer them military protection. I don't see why this should stop Ron Paul from pulling troops out though. We can defend the Saudis with a fraction of the troops.

Yes. At least to someone with a basic understanding of world politics. I guess that excludes you.

Have we sold one or more of those things to them? I didn't know that.

Have you failed to hear that Iran said they would station some ships just off the coast of the US? Do you not know that they have rockets that could reach pretty deep in the US from international waters?

We didn't have this one further than one test four years ago. In fact, we only have about 10 of them ready to use now.
