Sorry. I don't vote for someone simply because they have a D or R next to their name.

I actually care about the issues.
---
ETA: Also, for #3, I can say the same about Republicans. Look at their response to Occupy Wall Street, savagely beating and pepper spraying innocent, PEACEFUL college students.

Don't think that all people are peaceful. Years ago I was driving as a teen and was stopped by the police.. there was a light out on one of my tail lights and these hippies jumped out of their car and came supposedly to my rescue calling the police pigs.. they were all bare foot, must have been 7 packed in a car and kept calling the two police pigs... like that was suppose to help me... they were hippies ... of course I told the police I didn't ascribe to their name calling and kindly referred the name of Officer to them out of respect and told them I didn't know these hippies at all. The Officers just told me to fix the light to be safe. Surprisingly the police did NOTHING to these hippies, they just ignored them.

I will vote Democrat because I believe they are looking out for the average voter when they have been bought by the same special interests that bought the GOP.

3. I'll vote Democrat because Freedom of Speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

4. I'll vote for Democrat because I'm way too irresponsible to own a gun, and I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers and thieves.

5. I'll vote Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday can tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.

7. I'll vote Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as the Democrats see fit.

8. I'll vote Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days

9. I'll vote Democrat because I think that it's better to pay billions for their oil to people who hate us , but not drill our own because it might upset some endangered beetle or gopher.

10. I'll vote Democrat because my head is so firmly planted up my ass, it's unlikely that I'll ever have another point of view.
Anyone voting "Democrat" is an idiot, and as an idiot, will no doubt vote the way Fox "News" tells them to, anyway.

I'll vote only for Democratic Party candidates, since I'm a long ways from being in the top 1%, and the top 1% is ALL the Republicans care about.

There used to be some common sense and true caring for this country and ALL her people on the part of the GOP, but those days are gone.

Define "true caring".

Is that allowing people to live off welfare for years?

What is being caring?

Is it taking from the rich to give to the poor so that the poor doesn't have to accomplish anything of their own because the $$$ will always keep coming?

Take raising a child for example:

You teach your child to take out the trash. You tell them "next time, it is your job to take out the trash". He doesn't do it. So you yell at him but you go out and do it anyway. Same thing happens the day after, and the next day...Two months later you are still taking out the trash.

How does that work? Well, people do not want to help themselves....and giving them a free ride only fuels their lack of drive and in most cases unwillingness to better themselves!

My grandma who raised me told me "you teach someone how to fish and it is all you can do! They need to want to LEARN how to fish and from them on, it is on them!"

We have become a nation of entitled, sensitive, and ungrateful people...who think everyone else (but themselves) should be held accountable for THEIR problems...I am not rich, I support 3 people on 30k a year but guess what? I do not whine about being poor. I am working towards having a better job, an education and more financial stability! As an adult it is MY JOB to do such thing, not someone else's to do it for me...or to give me a free ride as I work towards my goals....even if it takes 5, 10, 15 years for me to get there. (ever heard of people being on Food Stamps for 10, 15 years? Well just do a little research and you will find plenty of data to back it up!)

We are losing our backbone.

I am not entirely against welfare. There should be a time limit. You need help? Well, you got 3 months to get your sht together and after that, you are on your own!
