It seems that the Arab Spring in Egypt has brought more attacks on the local Copt Christians by Muslims:
Copts Attacked in Cairo -- 10 Injured - Middle East - News - Israel National News
Any thoughts on this?

Serves them right. Where do they get off expecting religious tolerance from the Religion of Peace followers.

The Obama administration supported the Arab Sring and thus they support the murder of Coptic Christians. This was all very predictable.

Very sad.

One would guess the larger Muslim reaction will be much the same as last time:

Guest Voices: Egyptian Muslims act as "human shields" for Coptic Christmas mass - On Faith at washingtonpost.com

Quote:
"I know it might not be safe, yet it's either we live together, or we die together, we are all Egyptians."

Such are the words one expects of great leaders on the battlefield, of politicians preparing a nation for war, of civic leaders rallying people for an inspiring cause.

But these are the words of Cherine Mohamed, a 50-year-old Egyptian housewife.

These words became a slogan of sorts for many brave Egyptian Muslims who chose yesterday to risk their lives in the wake of the New Year's violence and attend Christmas Masses with their Coptic Christian brethren, serving as human shields against further potential acts of extremist violence on the Christian holy day.

A movement led by Muslim leaders and journalists, the civilian response has the heartening undertones of a civil rights struggle that transcends religious differences. It is furthermore a demonstration that because government officials in Egypt and other Muslim-majority countries have often failed to defend religious freedom, the people are taking matters into their own hands.

But please, just because the Muslim equivalent of the Southern Baptist Conference is a bunch of jerkwads don't let that stop you folks from your regularly scheduled two minutes hate.

Its just the beginning of Christian clensing in Egypt.Just wait until Bashar Al-Assad is removed from power in Syria. Then you'll see much more attacks on Christians in Syria that may carry over into Lebanon.

My best friend and best man at my wedding is a Coptic. Bought investment property in Cairo also. Guaranteed his property has been or will be seized by the mob theocracy.

He also predicted 9/11 back in 1999. His boss at that time told him he was nuts to even suggest such a conspiracy. Guess it took someone being embedded among the crazies to realize what crazy could do.
