Now ask me why i care nothing about a piece of sh-- thing that she has to say. That women to me sorry is trash.
She also needs her head examined, so someone in her family gets murdered, is it really nothing.
She had plenty to say about the teal-party, that piece of s---!
She called it a distraction. You lied in the thread header for crying out loud. She's actually correct on that one, much as it may chafe people's behinds to agree with her on anything. Even that the sky is blue.
Fact; crime happens everywhere in America whether or not a bear was pooping in the woods at the time. Correlation is not causation.
Fact; more protesters have been injured by police at the behest of ham handed politicians than by derelicts happening by. As reality has played out, the learning curve was quickly surmised by 99%. We can count on straighter answers from a drunk than we can any American Mayor. Yes, I mean that.
Fact; there are addicts and mentally ill people who roam the streets homeless on a full time basis predating this movement. American policy deals with both very poorly and they, along with our streets, suffer for decades as a result.
Fact; there are reliable incidents involving social workers, nurses, cops, firemen, and clergy dealing with the very same characters that occupiers less qualified to cope with them have had to deal. Young folks I've talked to carrying the duty of security have expressed a deepened respect for the nasty that on the beat cops have to deal with day in day out.
Fact; tea partiers wouldn't be caught dead getting their hands dirty or making anything resembling a sacrifice for their country. It's 'someone else's job'.
I agree with Maxine on this overall subject. Tea going to hell sounds like a nice start. Cows of Bashan have no intention of being American. They sell poor people for the price of a pair of shoes and are convinced they're Christians. They're the exact opposite.
maxine "oneunited" waters should be in jail, instead of spouting off about anything. (she should be referred to in that way in any future commentary). she may be getting away with it because we have a crooked ethic committee, but it doesn't make it right.
The U.S. House of Representatives Ethics Committee mysteriously and abruptly canceled its high-profile trial of Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA), in spite of evidence that surfaced indicating that the panel’s chairwoman has been unscrupulously steering the investigation to help her fellow California Democrat, Rep. Waters
The Ethics Committee chairperson, Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA), has indefinitely suspended two key investigators with no explanation, obstructed her staffs’ probes on Waters and repeatedly refused to approve requests to subpoena Waters and Rep. Barney Frank, the Massachusetts Democrat who is also embroiled in the Waters corruption scandal, according to officials at Judicial Watch, a Washington, DC-based group that investigates and prosecutes political and government corruption and crime.
here is some of the corruption:
Fast-forward a month later. The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday that the high-and-mighty Waters had a personal and financial stake in Boston-based OneUnited, a minority bank that received $12 million in TARP money under smelly circumstances. The banks’ executives donated $12,500 to her congressional campaigns. Her husband, Sidney Williams, was an investor in one of the banks that merged into One United. They’ve profited handsomely from their relationship with the bank:
“Congressional financial-disclosure forms show Ms. Waters acquired OneUnited stock worth between $250,000 and $500,000 in March 2004, as did Mr. Williams. Mr. Williams joined the board of OneUnited that year. Each sold shares in September 2004 — including Ms. Waters’s entire stake — but Mr. Williams continued to hold varying amount of the company’s stock. In the lawmaker’s most recent financial-disclosure form, dated May 2008 and covering the prior year, Ms. Waters reported that her husband held between $250,000 and $500,000 worth of the bank’s stock. Mr. Williams also received interest payments from a separate holding at the bank, also worth between $250,000 and $500,000. The 2008 form doesn’t specify what that is. Mr. Williams stepped down from the bank’s board last spring. It couldn’t be learned whether he still owns stock in the bank. Mr. Williams didn’t return calls seeking comment.”
Waters (along with Rep. Frank) participated directly in pressuring the feds for OneUnited’s piece of the bailout pie. She personally contacted the Treasury Department last December requesting $50 million for the company– and failed to disclose her ties to the bank to them. The government ended up coughing up $12 million in TARP funding for OneUnited — despite another government agency rapping the bank in October 2008 for “operating without effective underwriting standards and practices,” “operating without an effective loan documentation program” and “engaging in speculative investment practices.
