We've heard Republicans for a long time now complain about goverment spending, Keynesian economics, and how the government doesn't create job growth. Now, Republicans are singing a different tune. They are warning about the dire economic damage the sequestration cuts will produce. Does anyone else find this to be ironic?
The Republican political machine knows that the American public has the attention span of a fruit fly. They can turn on a dime as far as their message is concerned.

Sequestration need be applied to all spending that is not enumerated by the powers of the Constitution i.e. the Taxing and Spending clause Article 1 Section 8. That would take down a huge swath of spending, and it would cost many senators and congressman their jobs. That's why my prescription would never be enacted.

The Democrat political machine differs how? Do they think mocking the GOP makes people forget that Harry Reid has intentionally kept the bi-partisanly passes budgets from the House from reaching the Senate floor for a vote?
Incumbants......kicking the can down the road hoping the car doesn't go over the financial cliff until after elections.

They are two sides of the same coin. One side will always bash the other, then switch sides when it benefits them. I think they call it 'politics.'
Well they ignored it until they couldn't. This is just like the annual budget. They ignore it until the 11th hour and then agonize over it, point fingers and each other, and then just pass continutions and go back to ignoring it.
These cuts can't be ignored. They were part of the raising of the debt ceiling agreement.
And it's getting closer and closer and all this time Congress just ignored it like it never existed.
Well soon it will come time to pay the piper. They wanted their debt ceiling and were only too glad to sign off on these cuts and this was both sides doing it and the President signing it.
That's concerning a cut on military, which has always been of high importance to fascists, that make up the Republican party.
Economic fascism is rampant in this oligarchy regardless of which side of the aisle. Just look at the number of JPMorgan/Goldman-Sachs cabinet members in the Obama administration.
I would expect a poster with a name including Russia to throw out troll-bombs like PRAVDA.
