I think that is a classic illustration of what Frum was trying to say. Thanks for making the OP's argument for him.

A prime example of what Frum was saying.

Nothing like harping on the other party's candidates when you recently ran Gore and Kerry.

Get real folks. We've got an absolute dumbass in the WH now and once he is gone, I'm sure will be stuck with yet another dumbass.

Why would Frumm defend Obama?
He has been critical of the President.
(and he is not a liberal)

“The bottom line is that if Wall Street has its way it will not support Obama this time around,” said one chief executive of a major Wall Street bank. “Romney is clearly the favorite.”

That’s the word coming out of JPMorgan, which recently held a high profile fundraiser for Romney attended by Dimon himself, a signal of where the JPMorgan chief wants the firm’s money to be headed this time around, according to people close to the big bank.

The FOX Business Network has learned that Bill Daley, the president’s chief of staff, has recently alerted senior people on Wall Street that the administration is likely to begin a concerted attack on the private equity business because it sees Romney as the most likely Republican
nominee.
Charlie Gasparino is one of the reasons I will watch Fox.

LOL. And that is exactly what Frum is talking about. The Fox News/Limbaugh/Bachmann world has led you all into an alternative reality echo chamber.

Really? Anyone care to walk down memory lane and recall every grievance Barry Goldwater had within the conservative camp? What's changed since, other than being more blatant?

Enough with blaming all others for why republicans can't wipe their own behinds. It only echoes how mentally far gone republicans are from accountability of any sort.
