How would you vote if we had a national referundum on all elected representatives in the federal government? You could either vote a) yes, all representatives must go or b) no change.
A yes vote would mean that every single congressman, Senator and of course the president and vice president would have to vacate office and we would start fresh. You can't pick and choose who to keep.
I am not please at all with congresses performance, or that of the white house. But there is a reason why the supreme court is a life time appointment.
And I don't want other states to tell me who I have to vote for, and I don't want to tell them who to vote for.
But congress and the executive branch are so screwed up.
My honest answer, I don't know. Would we consider federal judges in that eviction?

I was undecided on whether or not to include them. Let's include them. This vote would basically be a vote of "no confidence". It means -- the Constitution is fine. Nothing about our system of government would change except the people running it. If the vote passes, they all have to leave office and we hold new elections, starting from scratch.

Then no, I think the lifetime appointment of judges beholdens them to few, and thats why we see conservative judges vote pro choice, and liberal appointed judges vote for corporate personhood.
Now, just congress and the President, that I'd have to think about.
It's very naive to think that we could have a house and senate of all newbies. There is a learning period of a year or so for newbies to learn the rules and procedures. To have them all doing that at the very same time would result in having a lot of stuff having to be done over again because it wasn't done legally or with all the T's crossed and I's dotted the first time around.
Depends on who they're being replaced with. If it's a bunch of unqualified cretins like in previous so-called "referendum" elections, that's hardly an improvement.

Maybe it wouldn't be such a bad thing for new "rules and procedures" to be created?
Obama is already turning the election into a referendum. He's making the choice between a Democratic version of government and a Republican version of government.
