As long as it gets the job done, who cares? Our politics needs to go back to that motto.

But Republicans have said no tax increase, period. And no military spending decreases, ever.

So that leaves social security and medicare, which the American people say not to cut, ever.

So, we have reached a point where we can't do this, and we can't do that, so we do nothing.

I'm with the American people, cut defense, keep medicare and social security, and raise taxes on the rich. Hell I think everyones taxes should go up, but hey, gotta start somewhere.
