You have a chance to expand your business RIGHT NOW....but you're not gonna take this opportunity until January of 2013 because it's imcumbent upon you to wait for Obama to leave?
I just have to ask some of you this question: Do you REALLY expect a clear thinking person with half a brain to believe that you're really a business owner?
I don't expect anything from you... I am not expanding, I said starting... employees will be there but they just won't be new hires... there are ways around it... and yes, I am can afford to hire someone with a generous benefit package but I am not going to... I am not to go hire someone and then Obama will claim it was because of him on TV... which he does on a regular basis...
They are WISE! Under BO a company with wisdom can't make any major changes, but just "hunker down" to survive.
BO and his nutty CZARS "shoot from the hip" worse than any leaders, ever. A business owner/manager can't
make decisions under this type of leadership. This is an intentionally confusing and chaotic time. BO hates Capitalism and he knows what he is doing is creating maximum confusion and lack of confidence which creates an impossible climate for business. Businesses plan months in advance. They can't do this, now.
My business is doing very well, so am I in some sort of money making "Twilight Zone"?
No, these yahoos who keep complaining are either 1) not savvy business people to begin with or 2) waiting around for some of that corporate welfare care of the Grand Ole Party
Either way they are the ones who will lose out on the revenue by sitting on the sidelines. I for one will be happy to take the money from the customers that they are not chosing to serve because a "colored" man sits at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Counting the election next year is about one year from now and when he gets re elected thats 4 more years isnt it? I thought 4 + 1 equals five. I see companies hiring all over my little state I guess their still making money even with Obama as president. I didn't vote for him and won't vote for him next year either.
Yes, some of us are, but usually far less than far. I calculate Obama has cost me about $180,000 so far, but to be fair, he had Pelosi and Reid's help.

Calipoppy, I never said mine isn't doing well, now did I?
I also didn't say that the others aren't "doing well." In fact, if they are as wise as I am then I know they are doing well because they are not hiring nor choosing to spend any more money than they have to. In fact, personally I've had an income increase. Why? How?
Because I think like folks that aren't expanding at this time. I have wisdom that has never failed me, and therefore everything I wrote in my last post is dang on-target.

You're not making any sense.
People hire employees because of increased workload...or to replace another employee.
If they don't hire people, it's because business is static. If they do hire, it's because it's fluid and growing.
No one with fluid, growing business can afford to NOT hire intentionally based on who is in the WH. It just doesn't happen, and it makes no sense. That's turning down business because your competitors WILL hire to take that business that you can only half-ass service properly.
You can only shake your head at this type of stupidity.
So you're such a horrible businessman, and work with such a pathetic business model, that your business isn't resilient enough to work through whatever person happens to be the chief executive?
Uh...that's not YOUR fault?
My business is making money, thank you very much. You speak as if you know what you speak of, but I doubt it. Many business in my industry are gone - closed. I rented a 2,500 SF warehouse about 4 months ago, and it is working out, but my business is shrinking.
It is obvious that you are so interested in name calling, that you didn't read what I said. I said I have gone from a 25% annual rate of growth, to a yearly shrinkage of about $60,000. Now that is not hurting me, per se, but the numbers are smaller. So, contrary to your childish remarks, I am working through it.
But thanks for putting on display what you really are, and really are NOT. Liberals always seem to show their true colors, given the opportunity, and I thank you for it.
