Rumors of a big rumble have kept the Albuquerque Police Department gang unit on campus this week.

So what should they do in Albuquerque....get rid of everyone that isn't white? Make the whole city one race so that they don't have a diverse population any longer?
Maybe they could set up the concentration camp up in Las Lunas or something.

Racial diversity has never been proven to be beneficial to anything other than peoples touchy feely emotions.
If diversity was a great idea, it would happen naturally, not because government says it must happen.
I'd agree, but I'd think diversity does induce tolerance for others not like yourself. However if natural diversity is being opposed, that becomes the issue.

There is no requirement for anyone to be tolerant of anyone else. People are free to associate AND to avoid anyone they so choose for any reason they wish.

And they are in their private lives.
It becomes an issue in the workplace however. I've known people that still have a thing against Catholics, yet they must work with someone who's Catholic. So maybe that'd be a little easier if they'd been exposed to more growing up.
The diversity issue is fun to talk about when it's about race. When it comes to economic diversity, that's when true colors show.

You can blame it on stupidity. Most people if left to their own devices can give you many more reasons to dislike them other than their race.
You can have two different black or latino gangs not liking each other wanting to fight in a school.
When there is just one or one holds an overwhelming majority, the tendency is for factions to emerge and fighting to begin.
