As for the left being responsible? you are consistently throwing out these wild accusations as to what the left are responsible for with very little in the way of verifiable sources. i'm thinking you are one of these types that just hate everything.
As for the lop sided game? i wouldnt blame the kids or the coaches,i'd have blamed the idiot who set up this game of mis matched skill/talent, to have a score that lopsided the two teams were obviously not in comparable leagues.
So the "idiot" was supposed to know that two tourney teams shouldn't play each other in a tournament they entered. LOL. That "idiot" who signed up the kids to play in this tournament was the coach. You want to blame the guy making the brackets? Typical left handed answer. Everybody is to blame but the one responsible.

Yes that "idiot" should have known that one team was very well not qualified to even be in that league, let alone that tournament. anyone who has ever organized sports leagues would know this.

No, he signed up for a league in which it held tournaments. the Legaue organizerers should have known better and say "hey, wait a minute, your kids are not up to par with our standards. ARe you usre you want them to play?"

Yes, blame the left for the obvious mistakes of the organizers (who are probably bi-partisan)

Again one's political beliefs doesn't matter when it was easy to see that the team was not qualified to be in the league in the first place.

My middle school didn't have a basketball team, so we never attempted to put together a team to participate in the tournaments. We did have a kick ass swim team, and that is what our school participated in.

It's only a game, why are you so angry? It's not that serious. This is part of the problem with kid sports, they treat it like professional sports and forget that 99.999% of the players will never be pro athletes. Just have fun, isn't that the point of it?

I tell you what I would call humiliation, getting beat by a team that was obviously not playing the game. THAT's humiliation. If I'm going to lose I want to lose against the best efforts of my opponent. There is no humiliation in losing to a better opponent as long as you and the oponent have put your best effort into it.

If they were getting beat that bad it's the coaches fault that entered them in the tournanament and those in charge of the tournament for not calling the game. If the other team was giving them all the chance in the world what more do you expect? Maybe they should all have sat on the bench? Do they swing at pitches and purposely miss them, maybe give them a broom stick to bat with? What is it you expect them to do?

-edit---

oops, it's basketball but same thing applies.

My kids have played AAU in different sports for the last 15 years. The ding dongs that set up the brackets are responsible for the mismatch.

The Middle School should be put into a different league because of all the AAU players on their team. Its that simple. Now at the High School level all bets are off.

It's a tournament. You blame everybody but the one who's fault it is for signing up the team in the first place............THE COACH. Typical left handed behavior and then on top of it the loons want to cancel the season of the other team for winning by too much. Another left handed equality mantra.

They play each other later in the year too that is if they Pikeville team is actually allowed to play anymore. I mean how dare they win a game. I guess the pikeville team should forfeit to avoid winning and upsetting everybody right?

It wasn't an AAU tourney. How many teams were even entered in the tourney? That isn't listed. My daughters team (6th graders) is a bunch of beginners and we've been getting pounded in tournaments here lately. I'm not crying about it and neither are they. They are getting better though.

The ding dong that entered his kids in the tourney when it's apparent they can't even dribble is responsible.

Everybody seems to have plenty of folks to blame but don't have a problem with the kids being punished.

I blame the left for the punishment trying to be levied on the kids for winning by too much. Yes I do. Prove me wrong.
