He's a sick ****. Lock him up. Pedophiles come from all ages, races, socioeconomic backgrounds, professions, and genders. Don't try to politicize this crime.
And yet some here speak as if all Catholic priest are pedophiles while excusing the teaching professionals which have a very long list of teachers targeting students.

???? I think it has to do with the fact that there is a university professor dumb enough to look at child porn in public. How is that a conservative or liberal issue?

University professors tend to hold liberal political beliefs, and conservatives tend to distrust / dislike them (and higher ed. in general) for that reason.

Well, I can't speak for them, but I responded because I found it comical and ironic that a university professor, no matter hs political views, was dumb enough to view child porn on a plane where everyone can see (not to take away the seriousness of the situation). What education or IQ does it take to be a professor, nowadays?

Scientists are often said to have their heads in the clouds when it comes to mundane practical matters (like proper etiquette on where to view your child porn).

I think it may have more to do with the "GOD" complex some professors have about themselves. They rule their class as if their word is law and don't you dare question them on whether or not what they spout is the truth or lies. Some of these types tend to look down upon those they feel are inferior to themselves and so they don't matter to them.

Mental/Emotional illness can override common sense.

Thank God I never had a professor even remotely like what you're describing.
