Adam Corolla is just a whiny rich guy who is mad that his luxury income is taxed at a higher rate than other people's survival income. Corolla conveniently forgets to mention that his survival income is taxed at the same rate as everyone else's survival income.

He knows what it's like to be broke. He worked hard to get where he is today - why do you or anybody else deserve the fruits of his labor?
He is correct on many things, but he did not address why someone who moves money around gets taxed only at 15%. Or why bailouts were given to companies than in-turn channel obscene bonuses to CEO's. That's part of the Occupy manifesto.

For the past 7,000 years or so, humans who have lived in civilized societies have paid taxes. These taxes are used to pay for the privelage of civilization ... roads, protection against invaders, police, courts, etc.
Corolla has to pay taxes just like everyone else. Of course, he doesn't pay taxes on the first $10,000 he makes. We don't tax the money that people make that goes toward purchasing food, shelter, etc. However, Corolla does have to pay a portion of the third million he makes toward maintaining the civilization he enjoys. He needs to quit being a whiny ***** about this. Nothing in life is free.
Tell that to the OWS protesters - they haven't gotten that memo.
That's what I find so ironic about Corolla's rant. He's whining and complaining about what a raw deal rich guys like him get . After a few minutes of this he then goes on to lecture the OWS crowd for being whiny pukes. What a douche, Corolla is.

To me this where people misunderstand the OWS protesters. You have to put this "free handout" thing in context with the bailouts given to the top banks and Wall Street institutions. Basically they are asking for what the Corporate Oligarchy got.
