Actually they can and do all the time. A christian school doe snot have to accept a muslim, a muslim school does not have to accept christians.
If there is no federal money involved they can bar whoever they wish.

fully funded private school could certainly do so. The question is do they want to have the protesters outside e their school if they did so. Would the bad PR keep them from having students and private money to run the school. Could they yes they could if they take no Federal money. Would it be a wise move as for as survival of the school no

I wasn't talking about Muslims or Christians. The Americans With Disabilities Act specifically forbids PRIVATE SCHOOLS from discriminating against those with disabilities - which includes being HIV positive.

I side with the school. HIV is a definite health concern. Children play and rough house and therefore they get scrapes and cuts, and nobody wants to be near a bleeding HIV-positive child.

ADA does not list HIV as a disability

The title says:

The ADA act

So yes so ADA can be used
to not deny application occupational training for state licenses
Says nothing about an HIV child has to be accepted in a privately funded school

No, they cannot. I'll quote the law:

"SUBCHAPTER III—PUBLIC ACCOMMODATIONS AND SERVICES OPERATED BY PRIVATE ENTITIES

No individual shall be discriminated against on the basis of disability in the full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, or accommodations of any place of public accommodation by any person who owns, leases (or leases to), or operates a place of public accommodation."

"Definitions

(7) Public accommodation
The following private entities are considered public accommodations for purposes of this subchapter...(J) a nursery, elementary, secondary, undergraduate, or postgraduate private school, or other place of education"
