He made a choice to do porn, had a career, wasn't a one time fluke.

I don't believe that prostitutes or porn actresses should be made outcasts after they decide on a career change.

However, I am not sure that teaching in a school should be their vocation because of the sexually exploitative nature of their previous career choice.

Who cares, as long as he is a good teacher and not currently a porn star. It seems as though he changed for the better and one should be evaluated by current, not past behavior. Fugitives from justice would be the exception.
