The refinery I work at is idling starting next week, and all of the employees (500) of us just received a 90 day layoff notice. This was the first refinery on the Delaware river it opened back in 1903. Its not only the refinery jobs but the town (Marcus Hook) jobs as well. Tax money for the school district, sandwich shops, resturants will all be hurting with the layoffs.

Those DAMN RICH PEOPLE! TO HELL WITH THEM AND THEIR BIG SALARIES! LET THEM FAIL IF THEY WON'T GIVE ME MORE TAX DOLLARS!

(Oh, wait, you mean the owners of Terminal Trucking were the job creators that I despise? Ooops!)

In my old county we have lost 12 small business and factories due to the over regulation and over taxing by Obama, Pelosi and Reid.

All since 2009. With most of them going under in 2010.

Cannot remember the amount of jobs but it is close to 20,000.

Obama is a job killing machine.

And by the way, record foreclosures and banks that look like car lots because of all the repos.

Thanks Obama!

* Obama promised that if we passed the stimulus that he could save 7 million homes from foreclosure. To date, his scam lie has only saved 80,000 homes.

Far cry from millions he promised.

Any particular reason for that? I would be surprised if its the economy because it sounds like one of those industries that would be shielded from up and down swings.

I've been looking at selling or liquidating my internet company due to 90 new tax codes I have to comply with. Not sure if the headaches will be worth keeping it open and I'm not hiring employees to deal with them. I dont have employees though, but anyone who thinks there isnt any federal regulations harming busnesses, is kidding themself.

Anyone that knows anything about the trucking industry already knows that trucking companies fail at an astounding rate. Good drivers will have zero problems find a new job.

If you do your homework, you can find dozens of small trucking companies like this one that closed during Republican administrations. It's the nature of the industry. The small ones get chewed up by the big ones all the time.
