Isn't it wonderful to learn that a city as large as LA has a city council with time to consider such pressing issues?

Why not? I don't watch the stuff myself, but I see it (watching porn) as the safest sex possible! As long as all parties involved are consenting adults, I really don't see why you'd care... isn't it better than amateurs making videos without consent, or going out trolling for live entertainment? And with the Internet these days, it's not like you can't find naked pictures & videos anyway - so might as well keep the professionals in business too!

As for the condoms, I voted "yes" on the poll even though it's not a pressing issue to me. It doesn't cost them anything (aside from the cost of a condom) to follow this law, and could save lives in the end... not only of the porn actors themselves, but the whole chain of folks who'd be indirectly exposed. So why the heck should we be opposed?

Here is a protip: If you **** a stranger who you don't know their sexual history of, then wear a condom. If you **** a porn star by chance, then double up. If you ever a **** a member of the Bush family, do the opposite of George Bush and practice responsible withdrawal. This is just common sense.
Let's face it...things go crazy in California. Didn't Arnold get caught poking the maid or something? Dope is legal, gays can french kiss in church. What the hell?? lol What the hell?? LOL Someone call an exorcist! LMAO

It would also set a good example to their viewing audience to encourage rubber use.

Nah, the guys who watch porn aren't getting much, if any at all. They're seperated, single, lonely, or the wife or girlfriend sleeps on the couch!

Now if only they'd pass an ordinance requiring their Liberal Loser Constituency and other Worthless Drags On Society to do the same thing.

Nope, not this.

“Every professional in the porn-world has herpes, male or female.” Tanya Burleson, formerly known as Jersey Jaxin, caught Chlamydia her first year working. She exclaimed, while speaking with me, “I don’t believe I worked with one person who didn’t at one time have an STD.”

Sexually transmitted diseases are highly prevalent in the pornography industry. Among 825 porn performers screened in 2000–2001, 7.7% of females and 5.5% of males had Chlamydia and 2% overall had gonorrhea. Dr. Sharon Mitchell confirms the STD prevalence in an interview with Court TV, in which she states: “66% of porn performers have Herpes, 12-28% have sexually transmitted diseases and 7% have HIV.”
