Well how has the over 1 trillion that we have spend over there made us more secure? How is the additional 100 billion we spending next year making us more secure. How do we know that all we are doing is training and arming the next group of people to attack us.

Little history lesson. We trained and armed afghanistan to fight the Soviets. Unfortunately for us, those same people that we trained and armed turned around and fought us. Will we never learn. Afghanistan is a tribal nation. They are not ready for democracy and if they are then they need to decide it on their own.

I may be the odd man out but I think we need to bring our wounded warriors home. We are not natrual desert rats and we do have borders to close. The money is better spent in the good ol USA.

I just read something about $36B to Russia to buy uranium for our nuclear plants. I think the whole thing was to drive the metals market up. .

We are in the middle east to ensure that oil is traded in US dollars. That was the deal cut with OPEC back in the day. If there were no reason for countries to hold dollars to purchase oil we would be in deep doo doo. Kinda like the euro is in now. They tried to get sadaam trading in euros but we quashed that and for a reason. Same with Libya and Khadaffi wanting to trade oil in african dinars.

We provide 107 billion to a foreign country, while at the same time we have idiots advocating taking away free lunch for poor children, cut social security for old people, reduce grants to our own law enforcement and we can't agree on a package to rebuild our crumbling infrastructure.

We need a new govt. This is not what the people of the U.S. want. WHo are our politicians representing?
Geez, that's about the same amount of money that will be spent on obama's junkets all over the world in 2012 isn't it?

I read that they are finally building railway from miami to Ft lauderdale...US looks like a third world country and billions sent overseas.......

I have to agree when Donald Trump last year was talking about how decimated US transit and airports are, and comparing it to all the money we give to China etc...

third world nation= what US politicians are creating.

You know why they turned around and fought us, right? And you know what we learned from that, right? I guess we never learned it, at least according to you. I know what I learned from it.

You ever watch Charlie Wilson's war?

Charlie Wilson's War - Trailer(HD) Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts - YouTube

1 trillion =
1,000,000,000,000

Cost of War to the United States | COSTOFWAR.COM

480,000,000,000

Your "trillion" is ....ermm.. ~480 billion.

Do you also hold them responsible for the mystery 520 billion? Now if you add up Iraq AND Afghanistan you'd have a trillion, methinks. However, you were railing against Afghanistan with an amazingly wrong high number. I find thisfascinating.
