Same lefties were squealing at the moon wanting gonzo run out of office for asking a few DOJ lawyers to resign but turn the other way when Holder kills a border guard.

We now know how FALSE this statement was, but NOT through the DOJ admitting it was false, but by Congress piecing together the lies and false statements about this horrible program of obama's , one that has cost hundreds of lives across the border and the lives of US border agents.
So DOJ is admitting to functioning in a state of ignorance. And Obama has bailed, just in time.

With out a doubt this was Obama and Holder's doing. Obama wanted to ban assault weapons and change gun laws in the USA so he created and used the "Fast and Furious" program to give him the evidence he needed ... claiming illegal guns were being sold in the USA to the Mexican drug cartel and used to kill thousands in Mexico...

This video shows a speech Obama made in Mexico blaming the US gun sales. This speech was made before our governments "Fast and Furious" scandal was uncovered and made public.

This scandal alone will probably bring down Obama and Holder let alone the other countless crimes he has committed.

You are correct. At the time they were ramping up all kinds of anti gun rhetoric and how it was US assault rifles causing all the problems along the border. If this never got out they would have legislation rammed down our throats by now. Lying scumbags is all they are.

Not much to say after Don9's post. In essence they pulled these hijinks in a desperate attempt to further a political agenda, and a dumb one at that. Maybe never a bigger combo of incompetence, dishonesty, and sheer stupidity than this.

Gotta love how they dump all this stuff off at 4:30 on a Friday evening, too. Will that really work? With an MSM that has always been in the tank for gun control, I'm afraid it just might work.

I remember watching Mex. Pres. Calderon's speech to US Congress claiming that drug-related violence in Mexico was caused by the expiration of the so-called "assault weapon" ban in 2004.

At the time I had a good laugh over it. I'm sure even he didn't believe it. I never figured that something like this would come out of it, but it has.

While Obama's ineptitude created the environment for this type of BS, I really don't think Obama actually pays enough attention to matters of state to have been at fault. I mean he needs to campaign after all.

If you look back over the past three years you will spot similar patterns used to achieve an objective.

Here is a game ... see if you can guess what similar methods were used by the Obama administration to change an existing policy.
