ye, but in all fairness and truthfulness, most educated people who study history know and realize that the Republicans of back then were the Democrats of today and that the Democrats of back then were the Republicans of today...

There was the great exadus or crossing over...for instance...Ronald Reagan use to be a Democrat, and others like him...but a massive switch a roo took place in like the late 60's...

And it bugs me when people fail to mention that...expecially since it's well known and documented in history...

The Republicans now are a far cry from the Republicans back in the early 1900s.

Are you really so glaringly stupid that you think either major party of today bears any semblance to the same parties of 1872 (the year the first National Park, Yellowstone, was established) beyond the names?

By the way, the National Park Service was established in 1916, when the House, Senate and White House were all controlled by Democrats. And there are 58 National Parks in the United States -- despite the fact that the GOP has controlled the White House for more years than Democrats since 1872, 35 of those National Parks (60%) were created by Democratic administrations compared to 23 by Republican administrations. Just thought I'd point this out, since you (stupidly) think what parties did many decades ago are necessarily reflective of their actions and policies of today.

The Republicans have certainly changed, but the Democrats are still the same destructive, racist pricks they have always been and continue to be to this day.

So what?

If the Democrats had created them, you would be running around touting it and having an orgasm.

This is not an "us vs. them" topic. Thank God.

So, it shows that both Rs and Ds supported a socialistic vision once upon a time, and it turned out to be a good idea.

There is nothing "socialistic" about it. The US Constitution, under Article IV, Section 3, Clause 2, gives Congress the authority to determine the disposition of US territories.

Unlike Democrats, who only use the Antiquities Act to lock up State resources and ensure future generations of Americans are deprived of those resources, Republicans use the Antiquities Act to lock up lands BEFORE the territory becomes a State (Democrats always wait until after-the-fact) that has to do with preserving the natural beauty for all Americans to share.

Everything Democrats do is motivated by their abject hatred and overwhelming desire to destroy the US. Why should they use the Antiquities Act for any other reason?

I have to agree with you on that one...talk about being propagandized or brainwashed....

As if he's met every registered Democrat before...

I could never allow myself to be so used like that by either party...

So thoroughly brainwashed...the way they want it...that way on election day, you'll vote for them...

I would never say 'All Dem' or All Rep anything...unless I had lost the ability to think and reason independently on my own...

And once I, we, loose that ability, we just become mouth pieces for elected officials...
