Sooo...what's going to happen?

I am not going to pretend to be an expert on this topic.
I do know that my husband and I are now paying twice as much for health insurance, while receiving far less coverage than we once had.

Maybe the same careful scrutiny given to the fine print in my premiums will also be given to those who make my healthcare decisions for me.
Mine went up 40$ but according to the Health Care Act i am getting a whole slew of service free that i didn't before.

We should get rid of that right away, let them screw patients for pay.

Insurance companies pay CLAIMS. They aren't in the business of providing medical care. The role of the insurance company is to scrutinize all claims and ferret out fraud and abuse to protect the shareholders.

Geez,...now what?

Make the government cover more claims,....or check the bureaucracy that administers Medicare to see that it is performing like the private sector?

So, insurance companies aren't about the patients but only themselves. Cool.

For someone who preaches cash for treatment and there should be no such thing as insurance companise, you sure love your insurance companies. Heck to the extent that you see them as saviors from evil health care providers.

no I dont love insurance companies..so apparently you have zero reading comprehension

I say ELIMINATE them (both private and GOVERNMENT) all together...insurance (someone else paying for your bill)(meaning both private and GOVERNMENT) is what has caused prices to skyrocket

its your body, your health, your bill....pay your own darn bill

Did you read the file of the reasons? This isn't like denying life saving treatments

27.8% of those were from not enough information provided (meaning a second claim needed to be filed).
20.9% were non covered elective services.
13.8% were bills submitted to the wrong insurer.

I guess research is scorned when you can just get angry about something.

And pretty sad to see you arguing with this liberal "idiot" (as you think applies to liberals). Get a clue.

As Queen Pelosi said, "We need to pass this law to find out what's in it"...lights on but nobody home.
