The 1% that most people are RAGING at are people like Jon Corzine from MF Global, Jamie Dimon, Lloyd Blankfein, Henry Paulson, Larry Summers, Warren Buffett, and generally any other financial thief on Wall Street.

They are complaining about the CRONY CAPITALISM and revolving door between big wall street firms and government positions, TO ENABLE THE FUNNELING OF LOSSES ONTO TAXPAYER BACKS, WHILE PRIVATIZING PROFITS OR RIGGING COMPLETELY SO THAT PUBLIC ASSETS ARE TAKEN AS PROFIT/BONUSES FOR THEMSELVES.

We bailed out firms that took on HUGE risks with TAXPAYER money.

Now because of this, we are all poorer. The money printing and inflation and ZERO INTEREST RATE POLICY are killing this country.

Savers get no return on CD's/Dividends.....

Those with savings have less as more is printed / devalued.

They are mad at the douchehats who BUY a politician, make leveraged bets with OTHERS money on Wall Street, BANKRUPT the company, then ride off with a bonus and no PROSECUTIONS.

BOTH PARTIES SUPPORT THIS.

No prosecutions because it wasn't illegal.

In the city I am at right now the local paper announced the 900+ city employees are set up with retirements that exceed 3 million each. Not sustainable and neither is an entitlement mentality with only a beer wallet.
Neither nEWt or Mitt stands a chance in hades of winning and being that many Repubs will not be able to vote for either that means the GOP will not be gaining the Senate or many seats in the House.
Propaganda pure and simple, not even worthy of a discussion.
Got a link to prove that last claim?

The OP is from this article. I posted it a while back but it's a good read if you missed it. This isn't your father's republican party.

Yes it was you are FOOLING yourself.

Look at MF Global? Billions in missing money, co-mingled, and bet on European debt. This is the golden rule of banking, you can't make bets using customer deposits, but they did.

Corzine did it and he escapes, scott free.

Keep listening to the talking points, lol.....

eerily similar to 2008.

They will be throwing "red meat to excite their "base" "again and they have no clue of where the American voters real issues are, as usual.

The economy is too real for them so they will drag out (yet again) the tired "guns gays and God issue" Im sure.

If it were illegal, you can be sure that Democrats would have waged court not only the court of public opinion, but in the actual court system. But they didn't, because there was nothing illegal about what was happening on Wall Street except for a few minor crimes that didn't warrant much attention.

That's the stated reason for Dodd-Frank financial reform bill.....no matter how flawed....it was meant to make the misdeeds of Wall Street nearly impossible to perpetrate in the future.

I guess you don't remember the days when the "Three Martini Lunch" was a punch-line for jokes.

Reagan closed the tax loopholes that FDR and the Democrats created.

Not much point in taxing people at 90% if you're going to allow them to deduct everything as a tax dodge, but then Democrats like to give lip-service.

They can't appeal to the middle without losing their base.

This is the corner they've painted themselves in.
