Does anyone know?
I'm curious. Where can this info be found?
I googled "US policy for Palestinians. All sites included a mention of Israel.
Is there any place to find the US policy concerning just the Palestinians without including policy for Israel? The whole world already knows US policy for Israel.
Or, is that all US policy concerning the Palestinians must first be approved by Israel?
You'd have to start at the 1993 Oslo accords and work forward from there. The PLO was seen as a terrorist organization. Thus the US didn't really have a separate policy for palestinians until Fatah became the leadership rather than the PLO (same issue with the Kurds and the PKK). Once Arafat died and all the corruption came out did Fatah become the representative for the palestinians and policies start to be formed for their own. but since the West Bank & Gaza are in Israel they are not going to get many policies directly for themselves not connected someway to their relationship to Israel. You might as well ask if Russia has a seperate policy for the American Indians seperate from the United States.
