I can only conclude that this poor guy is getting old and his smooth muscle tissue is not cooperating. somebody ship this clown some sinfadel and willing woman.
The strength of the religion of Islam must be very weak indeed, if a Muslim woman's faith in Islam can be undone, simply by looking at a banana. This should be an insult to all practicing Muslims, that their god is so weak and frail, he can be cast aside from the simple act of gazing upon a piece of fruit or vegetable.

This kind of idiocy is not restricted to Islam, it is a hallmark of all fundamentalist religions including large numbers of Christian sects.
In the US, we have some states that make it a crime to buy or sell sex toys. There is also the constant clamor from the Christian right to pass laws banning porn and restrict the content in TV shows and video games.

What's funny is that the spread of Islam also resulted in the spread of banana cultivation, so the cleric doesn't even know the history of his religion...

Ding ding ding, we have a winner. Wondered how long it would take a liberal to bash Christians in order to defend islam.

True enough. Read about the "Victorian Age" in England. Back during those times women felt it necessary to faint at the faintest hint of impropriety. Anything 'sexual' in nature was to be covered. Indeed, there were even special cloth 'leggings' to cover the suggestively curved legs of pianos.
It was impossible to ask for a particular piece of chicken if you were in mixed company. If there were a platter of chicken you could not ask for a 'leg' or, heaven forbid, a 'breast' or 'thigh' (wing was alright, and for leg they came up with 'drum stick'). One gentleman came up with the idea of referring to a cooked chicken as composing 'dark' or 'white' meat (which said designation continues to this day). Hence, while you could still not request a 'thigh', you could request a piece of 'dark meat' and it improved your chances of getting what you wanted.
Winston Churchill once, at a dinner party, made the mistake of asking for the breast of chicken. The woman sitting next to him reprimanded him: "Mr. Churchill, you do not say that word in public. We call it white meat".
A day later, Churchill sent the woman a corsage, with a note: "I enjoyed meeting with you last night. Pray pin this beautiful corsage to your white meat".
